Oklahoma City Memorial pictures

I took some pictures today with my new XSi. Still trying to figure it out. Here's some pictures of the Oklahoma City National Memorial.

photos 1, 4, 6, & 7 are amazing. What lens did you use: settings? 5 is nice, just a bit distracting with the branch in front - still, beautiful composition! and I would lighten the flag just a touch in the last photo. I really like your photography!

I enjoy them all except for pic #5 the tree is a little distracting. My favorite is #4. Keep up the great work!

They were all shot with the kit 18-55 IS lens.

They were all shot in manual.

And all ISO 400.

wow, kit lens! great shots. I am especially moved by the first shot still. I have never seen this statue. I hope you took this one as big as possible. Keep shooting my friend... you got skills
