Hey all,

Took this from a 14th story balcony. It was amazing the bird flew around for ages with different sticks. I am going to try head back to the same place again a few more times and get some more shots. Let me know what you think. Any suggestion are welcome. If you have any tips for better shot i would really like to hear them.

All shot with Sigma 50-500 on my 350d. For more exif data this is the gallery (external link).

Did a little work in Lightroom.

Nice images, Yes I think it is a Whistling Kite. Not sure if it made the "Whistling" sound for you but once you hear it it's unmistakeable. They're very common in the NT not sure how common they are in QLD. My only suggestion would be to get a better angle, maybe try if possible to get a head on shot with the sun behind you.

Thanks. I like #1 more well. It's nicer to see the head and eyes(or eye)
