Canoga has 5D kit with 24-105L & Pro9000 printer for $3,219. This kit has an instant rebate of $300 then a mail in rebate of $300 for net $2,619.

Assume, if you could sell the printer for $300 and the lens for $900, you're paying $1,419 for a brand new USA model 5D.

Not bad....

Canoga is an A1 store in my book. I have bought most of my gear from them as I live in NV and can't stand waiting 5 days to buy from the NY boys. They have an actual store front also in your happen to be in the LA area.

canoga has terrific ratings on resellerratings.

I snagged the kit at amazon for 2563 - and free shipping - but they bumped it to 2599 right after that.

I purchased a 24-70 2.8 from them 4 days ago, and it was packed and shipped the same day. A sales rep called me an hour or two after I placed the order on the net, and asked me some survey/order clarificaction questions and it arrived as scheduled today. Good seller IMO

I haven't shopped at Canoga before but have heard good things. This deal sounds pretty decent. I picked up the 5D /w 24-105 for $2900 /w the pixmia pro 9500 from amazon a while ago with a $400 and $100 dollar rebate. Sold the printer and kit lens and scored the 5D for about $1430

Its a brand new poster with no explanation. I'd enjoy a hefty grain of salt alongside that posting.

Shooting with the Canon 5D & Nikon D300... and now the 20D!

Amazon (with affiliate link) (external link) has the same deal tho about $50 more and has them in stock - but has free shipping which would make it closer to the canoga deal.

I have had wonderful experiences with Canoga Camera, and have referred friends to them who have had equally great experiences. They are extremely knowledgable, happy to help, and I have received each of my purchases the next day without having to pay for expedited shipping (however, I do live in California). I look forward to my next purchase with this company.

Um... hope i'm not bursting your bubble, but my understanding is that this rebate is an "instant rebate" and should already be figured into your purchase price... there's no "mail in" option for this one.

^^ If you purchase the printer, with the Cam, or Kit, then, yes, there is a 300 MIR.
