And they have a 4gb SDHC card for $15.99.

It would be slower than a high speed card but I doubt its that slow that you would notice much. I've had all different speeds and I could never tell a difference.

I've got a 2gb 266x speed Transcend CF that I will sell to ya for $25 shipped..... I bought it in February for a trip to Mexico and used it down there only..

thanks but i'm just going to wait and bite the bullet on a fast 8gb card when the time is right. I have to many other new gadgets i want first. (40D & 70-200L)

I've been using a pair of these in my XTi and have never noticed them being too slow, shooting both sports and wildlife.

I find my Ultra II way to slow. It's always playing catch up.

I've been using one of these in my 40D (RAW shooting) since October and haven't noticed it being any different in my camera than my Ultras or Extremes. In the card reader I've never done a test, but I also haven't noticed a difference. I think for the $50 I paid in October it was great value and with this price drop I'll be picking a couple more up, too.

I've used transcends for years and never, knock wood, had any problems. So for me, they've been more reliable than SanDisk (who has one failure with me only, so it's a bit of a wash really).
