without searching through the hundreds of pages here... im just going to ask.

are there any good side by side comparisons of this lens and the 70-200mm 2.8 is ii?

I just got my new 70-200mm today... but as with everything... im always wanting better.

I took this shot of my kids a few hours ago... but just miss my 200mm 2.0

I had the 200mm 2.0 before and loved it.... i was just so impulsive and sold it to fund a motorcycle.... now im wishing i didn't.

does anyone have some head shots done with both lenses @ 200mm from the same distance, same composition... to give an idea of the bokeh differences? The difference between my shot above and the shot below is huge... but of coarse you have to take distance between the camera and subject and background into consideration... but, the shot below looks sooo smooth.

Thanks for any help you guys can give.

btw, this shot and some of Stu's daughters pics....... AWESOME

the two lenses are a bit redundant in the portraiture department, so there will be very few people who have both.

i'd like to buy the zoom, but i'm afraid it's going to eat what limited time i already have with the prime.
