The 200 f/2L has been on my wish list since long before that, and having seen 70-200 vs 200L debates I'd just like to make a comment. The 70-200 is a remarkable lens and I love it, but I would trade its zoom for the extra stop any day. The zoom IS useful and I've seen people suggest that f/2 vs f/2.8 is insignificant, but I keep running into situations where I have to go to my 85/1.4 when I'd rather be at 200mm but 2.8 is just too slow. I will buy a 200L when I'm able and there's no doubt in my mind it'll be worth its price for the events I shoot.

Truly a fantastic piece of glass and something very special. I hope you can make your dream come true like I have Canon 15-35RF, 50 1.2RF, 70-200RF
