The corn field almost looks fake, wow. Is that the bokeh effect? Separating subject from the background, but this one, really deceiving my eye. :eek:

If you all dont mind, please post anything shot in full size image and 100% crop with this lens. As much as you can :mrgreen:

I saw so much detail in 300L II thread, they posted so much 100% cropped images and those images look very very sharp. Dxomark doesn't review 200L f2, pity. I'm totally blind how far the difference between 200L and 300L. What score you guys give to this lens? In sharpness

200 is the sharpest lens that I ever used. It¨s very sharp at f2. It is not just a matter of sharpness - bokeh , rendering , character. Separating from corn is out of focus field&bokeh .... priceless!
This is sample full phto and crop version....so I dont know is it 100% crop....f2.2

Wow, nice shot! I can see some dust or tick right on the monkey's head. :eek:

Agree, not just a matter of sharpness, but for me all canon's flagship lenses offers the same color, rendering, bokeh, etc. :-D The only things that makes they different are sharpness and purpose (focal length). So this is why I'm disappointed dxomark doesn't review this lens.

They were right about the 300 II is the sharpest lens available for canon, they were right put the 400 II sharpness quite far below the 300 II. I saw in 400 thread, 400 II loosing its detail with the 2x TC attached, while the 300 II still superior at 600mm f5.6

Great pics Zeus!

Last day i had a small job, second shooter for one of my good friend. Shooting for the first time such a contest! The light was very good, i used only 5DS R and 200/2.0, most of them wide open.

He does have a red tone to his face.
To me, it looks fairly natural for a person with his ancestry.

Was he getting a reflection from someone with a red tee shirt in front of him?
I can see the lower left yellowish material that i s a slight distraction to me.
