I've enjoyed the comments, feedback, and photos taken with the amazing Canon 200mm f/2 lens. I've had mine for about two years, and become more amazed by its abilities every time that I use it. I don't pull it out nearly as often as some lenses, but do so pretty regularly and for bokeh it cannot be beat. Dogs, people? Incredible results. I regularly put extension tubes on mine and shoot flowers, and depending on the subject it produces amazing results. The 200mm also works very well mated to Canon's 1.4x III teleconverter for a 280mm f/2.8, and does okay with the 2x III for a 400mm f/4 lens although careful micro-adjusting will probably be important for the latter uses.
Anyway, I got the opportunity to shoot a beautiful chocolate lab therapy dog, Brandy, yesterday, and here are a few of those images. None of these are wide open at f/2 - I usually stop it down a bit - but the lens still shines even at f/2.
