aight.. you talked me into picking up some 2905's!!!!!!!!

i was just reading about them earlier today.. eventhough, i have not had one issue with the impact ones


D700, D300, 28-70 2.8, 80-200 2.8, Elinchrom Dlite4 kit, CS3, and tons more inlcuding, talent, vision, determination, and blessings:D

HI Mario,

I got my first one not too long ago and since then I was hooked. I did see your other post where you mentioned them but that was not my inspiration. :D

Superclamps are invaluable. They are such a multi-purpose solution for so many things. Those and a bag full of Pony clamps and I can attach anything to anything. ;)

If you've never had issue or reason to question what you have then I don't see the need to change over. If you need new ones or knew in advance that you're going to have some weight on it or you were going to support a large modifier by its speedring, making the umbrella bracket the swivel mount for the strobe, then by all means get the Bogen. There may very well be others that are made of metal and just as strong and durable but give or take any small price differences, I'm a Bogen kind of guy :cool:
