I may be putting the cart before the horse on this one, and I don't want to jump the gun, but I want to have my ducks in a row beforehand.

I have done some product posed work in the past and simply paid the model as any regular commisioned shot, but I am working something up now, that may have the potential to get her face plastered out there on a regular basis, as a "spokesperson" type thing. You know, regularly posing in shots of and with the products. This brings to mind how to pay her. Doesn't seem right to pay her for shots, and then if they like and continue to use her in their advertisments, not let her recieve any more, and if so- from them or me? I'm not sure how this is supposed to work. What is the accepted standard for this kind of thing?

Say, they like a shot and decide to make a callender or poster, should the model get paid for this?

Basically, any info/opinions would be useful. Thanks in advance.

KAW.

Models who are with model agencies have an hourly plus usage. If the adverts renew they get paid again but not for the time.Shooters should be in the same boat.
