Summer Tanagers

Today I finally was able to photograph what has been an elusive bird for me. It seems these birds have a sensor that detects when I pull my camera out. I am not totally thrilled with the quality of the photos, but they are both better than the ones I had yesterday! These are quickly becoming one of my favorite birds.

First Spring Male Summer Tanager

Female Summer Tanager - I wish the background for this one was a little more different than the color of the bird, she seems to blend in too good for me.
