You'll also need to tell us what AF scheme you were using and which exposure mode you were in. http://www.denniswierzbicki.com

The ONLY thing that's going to help there is some flash. You'll get effective shutter speeds much higher than you can shooting ambient in there and your colors should have a bit more zest to them. Shooting wide open with that slow shutter is definitely one of the reasons for being soft. Another can simply be a little shake while shooting. IT doesn't take much movement on a zoom to induce soft or even very blurry images. Scott Evans Photography

I still don't get why don't you try your 85mm f1.8 for these shots. Sorry to be harsh but every time people suggest that you don't strip exif, you do. Most important things are, Fuji XT-1, 18-55mm

May 21, 2008 09:32 | #14 I do sometimes use the 85mm this gym the ways its built behing the goal is right at the goal. I am soo close i cant even get a shot unless its away from the goal at this particular location. i did some shots with is but didn't get anything but an arm or leg in the photos cause i was sooo close. its not that I dont listen. I do listen to every work said to me or written :0) sometimes i can use it and sometimes i just tooooo close is all. And secondly.. I NEVER I MEAN NEVER Ever has stripped info. never. I dont know how its stripped. www.haasports.info

Could be wrong as I haven't used it. agreed on all points Bobby. LEAVE THE EXIF INTACT!!! Scott Evans Photography
