Soft Photo's when shooting some bball shots

OK What Strobe's do you use. and how do you set them up. I could not imagine in my main gym how I could set that up...

You can accomplish this with just two 430ex flash mounted on brackets and clamp the brackets on anything on both corners of one basket. You will then need the speedlite transmitter.

Dennis, I too have shot a lot of basketball over the 12 years I have worked for newspapers. I think the lens is a personal preference, no disprect intended as I admire your work and your opinion on many, many topics. I, personally, don't care for shooting with the 70-200 that I have. (yes it is slower than yours at only f4). I got the 85 1.8 at the end of last season, used it a few times and loved it. Before that, the bulk of my shots I did with the 50 1.8. Again, it's probably just my personal preference.

well i guess slower does not have to be worse. i would rather have a great photo in fewer quantity then a whole lot of nothing

I have a few Shoe mount Multi clamp brackets. will these work in gyms.

If not can you tell me which one a good one to use. I will a request in for that right away at my office to get it ..
