I am planning on getting a 1Ds sometime this year, and as I always shoot RAW to the CF card and .JPG to the SD card (using the SD as backup), I was wondering whether there is really any need to match the card sizes.
I know that the RAW files on a 1Ds are between 17Mb - 27Mb in size (used my own card to take some sample shots at Focus this year), I was wondering what sort of size the duplicated .JPG's would be.
Anyone with a 1Ds able to enlighten me?
I'm planning on buying a couple of 8Gb CF cards but don't see the point of getting 8Gb SD cards if I don't need them.
BTW will the MkII & MKIII both read the new SDHC format - I guess they do if they use a card larger than 2Gb?
