This was my first time at a track (and my first time shooting anything moving this fast). OK, here are the reposts without the vignetting - plus an extra from the last race and one of Big Brown (from pretty far away). I'm not a fan of the dead-center subject on that last one, but every time I try to crop it I lose some fans at the top and/or bottom. I'm open to your crop suggestions.

The track was quite an experience - especially when we got close and could hear the horses thundering by. In answer to you question - I wanted to bring my 70-200 f4 but I was not sure if they would let me in with it. I wound up using the 24-105 with 1.4x Tamron extender for all of these shots. jsarnerphoto.com
