I would like to sell images from weddings and events by posting them to a web site and then sending a link to potential buyers who would then order prints directly from the web site with my cost figured in. Who Out Does This Service????

Zenfolio does as I'm sure the others do. With Zenfolio you can set your prices as you wish. They charge a % to do all the backend work for you. Visit Zenfolio or any others and you can read all about it.

I use digilabs.biz, very satisfied with them and their service. The software is very easy to use, it builds the album for you with thumbnails and preview images. You set your own prices, they will print or you can print, they process the customer's credit card and like magic I get a check every month. Tell them picprinter sent you.

gear: Canon A2 ( yes, some still like to shoot film), Canon D60, Canon 1d Mk2, Canon 28-70L, Canon 70-200L, Canon 24-105L, Canon 100-300 ( can't find it right now), 550EX, 580EX, Sunpak 622 SuperPro, Norman 200B. Fuji SFA1257 Printer, Fuji FA720 Enlarger, Fuji Pictrostat Digital 400 Printer.

Hi Randy,

You and about a bazillion other photographers! ;)

I've used Printroom.com for three years.

You should search on "event photography" here to get tons more info about this. "print order fulfillment" are other possible search terms. The Wedding Forum is another good resource.

www.photoreflect.com (external link) Totally free and when you upload your images they watermark each image PROOF on them totally free also. I have my clients go there and just email me or mail me the image id numbers, size of prints they want and pay me and then I place the orders. Photoreflect has labs they contract with, I don't use them because photoreflect takes a percentage and by the time you are done it isn't worth it..if I take the orders myself everything is profit.

Exposure Manager handles the credit cards, printing and shipping to your customer. their customer service, along with print quality is excellent. Their fee $99 a year (discounts available) and 10% from each sale. Once a month they will mail you a check based on sales from the previous month. If you order prints at cost, you can pay with any balance you have so you might not have to charge it. They also have a lot of different sales reports you can view, such as sales by print, print size, and others.I have used them since Sept and have no plans of going anywhere else.

You should at least check them out along with other sites you might be considering.
