Well done & welcome to the POTN bird forum. I really like the inquisitive look from the little guy in the third shot.

I do have most of the great gear but it is still a challenge for me to get really good shots. These are very acceptable and I especially like the last one.

Hello canon400;

Welcome to the addictive world of the bird forum.

Well done on capturing these; BUT, can you (or ANYBODY) ID the bird in #1 & #3?

The beak would indicate it's a FINCH of somesort-but I'm buggered if I know which?

Cheers;

Lee

Aaaaahhhh! That would explain why I can't ID the bird...

If you want to ID the bird, the best place to go is Bird Forum (external link) They are pretty damned good...

Cheers;

Lee
