The only thing I dislike is the person standing behind the catcher, but that's just how life is sometimes. Thanks for the comments. The background was way too cluttered so I set my aperture to -- I believe -- f/2.8 on my 70-200 but that's all the blurring I could get out of it. That fellow was standing right behind the catcher in order to speed things up a bit by helping with the loose ball...

Where you from? I've got some good ideas for shot locations for baseball if you want to find some good ones. I've been selling my pics to parents for a few years now. Thanks for your comments. This baseball field was smack in the middle of a cluster of huge housing project going up. Houses everywhere and all around except towards the parking lot with the Pikes Peak Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO) view in the background where the sun light was also situated. It was a bit risky shooting almost directly into the sun with the subject in between, and even then I had to do a lot of moving around to avoid the houses in the background, as well as cropping.

I've been selling my pics to parents for a few years now. Oh, please do share your ideas. It's always helpful learning about shot locations for sports that I'm not familiar with. I know what to do when it comes to tennis, soccer, swimming, golf, etc., but not baseball or figure skating (another assignment coming up)...
