So, I got bored today and forced my little sister to let me take some shots of her. I want to in the near future stat doing portraits for people and such, and I was just wondering if anyone has any comments/criticisms on these. I am pretty new to this genra of photography

Great shots and composition. It looks like there is sun in her eyes. You may want to use a location in more shade or reflect sun off her face.
