Went to my first airshow last weekend. Hot, Bright, and had to shoot the wrong direction most of the time. Here are a couple. Hope you like. First one is A-1 Skyraider with an A10 Warthog. Shutter speed off a little. Got a little blur in the warthog, but wanted the prop blur. The pilot in the A10 did about 15 minutes of pure flying fun in the sky.

And the A-1 Skyraider. Wished I could have gotten better pics.

The Showbirds were also there, but have not had a chance to get thru them.

Shutter speed off a little.

It's tough to find the right combination of sharp shots & prop blur. Sometimes it helps to practice with traffic for a warm up before the shoot. Marauder61 always seems to get it right. (Pro trick: Or maybe he just shows us the great ones?) :D https://photography-on-the.net …hp?p=4303755&postcount=17

Airshow guys - prop freeze?

I'd suggest C.Fn 13-1 to put AF point selection on the joystick, too. Look in your manual under Custom Functions.
