Hey guys, a few shots from today. My second time shooting dirt jumping, trying a few different angles.
I realise the borders are outrageous, but I made them like this to post on another forum.

Good old farkin. I have wasted many an arvo on there... Any how, for the action shot some of you may have noticed the blur around the rider. Your thoughts on this?

Either way, I like the perspective and it got me stoked since we are finally dry and we are heading out to dj this weekend at a sick spot locally. Maybe I'll take some gear along with the bike. Thanks for the inspiration and nice images. Scott Evans Photography

Jarrod, part of it may be that I have only ever shot dirt jumping once. I find it different to shooting Downhill, in that the rider doesnt come as fast, and he comes a little blind, so the reaction time is different. That said, I think I got the timing right here, just need to work on the crop a bit. This was taken with a 50mm prime, so I had about 1 foot of movement to work with from the tree:S. Once I get either my 24-70 or 70-200, Ill be able to do this shot again, and hopefully get it better.
