Hey guys, a few shots from today. My second time shooting dirt jumping, trying a few different angles.

How high was I? Find out for yourself...

I realise the borders are outrageous, but I made them like this to post on another forum.

Thinking about it, I probably should have kept it to the PM's, nobody else would know what I'm talking about.:p

Good old farkin. I have wasted many an arvo on there... Any how, for the action shot some of you may have noticed the blur around the rider. Your thoughts on this?

tighter crop on two would help but that's a nice little jump. Is that a flow section or single lip? Either way, I like the perspective and it got me stoked since we are finally dry and we are heading out to dj this weekend at a sick spot locally. Maybe I'll take some gear along with the bike. Thanks for the inspiration and nice images.

Jarrod, part of it may be that I have only ever shot dirt jumping once. I find it different to shooting Downhill, in that the rider doesnt come as fast, and he comes a little blind, so the reaction time is different. That said, I think I got the timing right here, just need to work on the crop a bit. This was taken with a 50mm prime, so I had about 1 foot of movement to work with from the tree:S. Once I get either my 24-70 or 70-200, Ill be able to do this shot again, and hopefully get it better.

Oh and all this farkin speak... Ill take a little time to explain. Basically its Australia's biggest Mountainbiking forum, mostly aimed at the DH and DJ scene. There alot of photographers on there, begginer and expert. This is why in this thread alone, about three other "farkineers" have commented. Expert photographers you ask... our three biggest would probably be Stephen Hillenbrand, Damian Breach and Chris Benny. If you havent heard of them, google their names:D. We could use some more photographers o give C&C too... *Hint Hint* Sound enticing for all you fellow bikers?
