My second attempt at capturing the action at a drag strip...
How did I do?
ISO 100 - Aperture between 11 and 22 (opened the aperture as the sun went down).

The shot of the Mazda RX8 really stands out to me - tack sharp and the lighting on it all seem to work perfectly together. F/13 1/80s ISO 100 at 140mm. I used AI Servo mode to focus and yes, I panned with the bike to keep it in focus. I love these type of shots, but I find them a challenge, especially with a f/13 (or larger)....but I walked away with 3 shots (the last three above) that I am really happy with....makes it all worth while. Thanks for the tips! I guess the biggest thing to make sure of is that AI Servo is on while panning with the car moving. -Pete
