This was taken at one of the smaller side creeks inside Havasu Canyon, within twenty feet of the tent. The golden color on the water is the reflection of the cliffs in the late afternoon/early evening light...a CPL was used to enhance the reflections. Turquoise water everywhere...

If so, you won't regret it ;) I actually envy the folks that live in Arizona...so much to see, and all within driving distance.

Looks like an awsome place to take pictures, anyone know what a chopper flight in and out costs?

TBH, that is the actual color of the water. The golden color on top of the water is the reflection of the late afternoon/early evening sunlight from the cliff faces. You just need to find the right time of day and hope that the conditions are in your favor. As far as equipment goes, I was using a 5D with the 24-105L lens and a polarizer, mounted on a tripod. Other than that, nothing out of the ordinary. Thanks for looking.
