I have decided, that a 70-200 IS would be nice to have fairly often. Gah, temptation is everywhere!

I don't have a single walkaround. I have a 17-35 and my 70-200 that is my "walk around" kit. I could see the 24-105 being nice for walkaround, especially on FF.

I avoid walking as much as possible. As a result, I haven't given much thought to which lens I would want to walk around with. I suppose if I was forced into it, I would walk with the 40D and the 17-85 combo. Low weight, decent IQ, etc. etc.

My drive around setup is the 1Ds with 24-70, and the 1Dm3 with the 24-105. Life is good when you have choices.

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

Just get the S5 IS -- all you will ever need.

I have the Tamron 17-50 and I rarely use it. My favorite walkaround is my Tamron 28-75. If the Canon 24-105 was f/2.8, I'd get that in a heartbeat.

I tend to ramble. Feel free to put me on ignore.

Walk around is usually the 24-70 or 70-200....Drive around is usually the 24-70 on the 1Ds, 70-200 on the 1Dmk2n and the 300 w/1.4x TC on the 20D.

I like the length on the lens, (17-50) but I hate the noise of the AF.

Hey....I figured it out concurrently with you posting the answer. This must be my day for puzzles.

Where's that NY Times Crossword?

I love doing the NY TImes crossword. Usually takes me about 15 minutes or so. On Mondays and Tuesdays, hehe.

What time is it in NY? Did they adopt a special time zone or something?
