 I hate it when I find myself in the midst of something like that.

On another front, DID nikon release the D700? Is it real? The rumor specs looked fantastic.

Yup, and a new SB-900 flash. See below.

So, I forgot my morning MOOOOO, how wrong of me :).

Apparently I have managed to come down with Bronchitis over the weekend so I spent most of yesterday sleeping due to the prescription cough medicine :-D.

On the brightside, I think I am starting to get better, but I am taking it easy as to not spout a re-occurrence of it full force.

I have to handcuff myself at times to avoid getting caught up in that.

Dang, that looks like a sweet camera! It's not that much cheaper than the D3 though (about $1K or $1200)...but still it looks nice. I would love to have a nikon, just to own that 14-24 lens!

Riley, I hope you feel better soon!!!!

I hate being sick in summer. I'm finally well (but a little tender after throwing my back out the other day...I'd certainly like to be in better sorts and go out and play!)

Me too, especially since Bailey is staying here through the week. But I appear to be on the mend so that is a plus :). (Bailey said I don't look like death warmed over any more :) ).

Hope your back feels better

Perhaps there is hope. Congrats even if it doesn't get in...you now know you have material that can make the grade!

True and funny enough this photographer recently posted a short article on the danish canon site about motorsports photography with the title "Technique is not everything" meaning that just because a photo is 100% technical perfect it does not mean it is usable and on the other hand just because a photo is not perfect it does not mean it cannot be used.

Well this will teach me to send the photos as soon as I actually have them ready. I had that photo ready many days ago.

Oh yeah...I left that part out...cuffed behind the back and around a phone pole.

A technically flawed photo that actually captures something important will certainly sell before a perfect photo that shows nothing....too bad the gearheads here don't understand that. A prime example just recently was the image of Big Brown's hoof at the Belmont Stakes...showing his sprung shoe. Not a great photo...but it answered a huge question.

How much does an Alphorn cost? And how long would it take to ship one to me?

Thanks Didier, we don't have Alphorn trees in Oregon. Is this in Zug?
