wow varied replies,,,

I'll say this and hope NOT to start a war, so just read it and go on...

I've had a lot of PC and was basically told (husband) I was going to try a mac, so we bought a macPro, and I fell in love. I kept a PC next to it for things I just did not want to give up, but now that that PC is dying...or near death, I'm going mac all the way with windows and Parallels on the laptop to do editing of books that I still need windows to do.

I NEVER thought I would be a mac geek (sorry mac people), but I've been convinced.

I use Parallels on mine - I have it stored on a little 80Gb external hard drive and it works real well. It even runs my Zune (Microsoft's version of the iPod whch they really really didn't want ever to function on a Mac).

how about a longer lens? (her gear list says she's got the 28-75 and the 100mm macro)

Yeah, but she does have access to my glass. And there's this really neat 70-300 that we have, too ;)

she doesn't need a deep hole to plant roses in. a shallow on will do. I like white ones myself.

Color matters not.... although I have a Queen Elizabeth awaiting a spot in my yard...

aww I figure that if he goes to all the trouble to insert us into other conversations, the least I can do is notice

Anymore, it's so predictable that I'm gonna start setting wagers on "when" and not "if"

I have a flickr account but no gallery.

This couple thinks cell phone cameas are the way to go for photos so I am not being very picky, to be honest with you. At the wedding and the reception I was turned into the wedding director because NOBODY knew what to do or when to do it. I t was a joke...neither set of parents had a formal wedding so everyone was clueless.

These customers will be very easy to please.

Don't forget they are children first (and children do silly things)...the whole heritage thing has to be worked into their little brains. It's distressing of course but not a reflection of their heritage, dear :)
