Hi Guys & Girls,
These shots are my first real attempt of portrait photography (please be gentle :)) and i was after a bit of C&C. I borrowed a friends 24-70mm 2.8L lens and i must admit when i got home and chucked the photo's on the computer i was disappointed to see that some shots had not focused properly, compared to shots i took later in the day with my 70-200mm f4L. The 24-70mm had a UV filter and i was wondering if that may of had an effect with the focusing, but I'm sure i have much to learn. Thanks.

Awsome to see that you have finally decided to post some of your work. I like them all. My favorite it the 1st one. I really like the angle on the pic. Keep up the good work and hope to see more of your work.

Nice to see you borrowed a bunch of L lenses...haha. Photos look pretty good. Interesting angles and nice bokeh. I would say this is pretty good for a first try.

They look really good - shooting wide open will make the pictures a little soft depending on the light - they all look great!!

The first one is my pick also - love the angle

Thanks for all the comments guys. I only borrowed the 24-70mm, i actually own the 70-200mm and i still think it was a good investment :). I must admit that the 24-70mm is still an awesome lens but i think it takes some getting used to.
