NOT Major League Baseball - Someday - First shots With 70-200 2.8 L IS

Ok these aren't shots of Barry Bonds or anything, but for 6 yrs old he's pretty darn good. Yall should see him play soccer! This is my Nephew Blake

Anyway, these are my first port shots with the 70-200 2.8 L IS and I'm VERY impressed with this things performance on the 40D in AI SERVO! And I haven't even gotten good with it yet! Let me know what you think and what I could do better etc.!

#3 would be killer if the guy in the background didn't look like he was takin' a piss.

#1 is great, but I find my eye being drawn to the red on the right.

All are under-exposed. Wish exif was present.

The funny thing is that the first thought that came to mind on #3 was "is that guy taking a piss".

not bad shots

Little League backgrounds leave a lot to be desired. And if you have limited access it does not help matters, but is does not hurt to spend a few moments before the game checking the backgrounds from your shooting locations.
I think you did good for the first time, but...they do look a bit under exposed and a bit over saturated. Next time you post do not strip off the exif data or post it with each shot. It really helps to have the shooting data. On the last shot you might try a vertical crop to eliminate the distraction.
