I was at a convention this week and Buzz Aldrin was one of the keynote speakers. I asked the pro there if I could pull out my gear and take some shots...he was very gracious and half way through the speach he came over and handed me his Canon 1.4x and said "try this"...wow. A pro hands a noob a piece of gear....well, the pics aren't great because it was my first time with stage lighting...and bouncing from a couple hundred feet away didn't work...but it was a great experience...Steve, if you are on this board...Much thanks (now I want an extender)...you were great!!
