I just bought my canon mark3 Ds last week. I had a shoot yesterday so I decided to shoot in s-raw and jpeg. When I went to download them into lightroom, I wasn't able to. It said that the files were damaged, or there was no program to support these pictures. Has anyone else had the same problem? I would think there is a simple fix to this. Any help would be great.

Kevin

You need to upgrade to version 1.3.1 at least (the current version is 1.4.1 so that would be best). Support for the 1Ds Mark III was added in Lightroom version 1.3.1 so earlier version would be unable to read RAW files created with that camera.

Adobe started supporting the Canon 40D camera (the camera that introduced S-RAW) in ACR 4.2/Lightroom 1.2 but through oversight omitted support for S-RAW files. The release of ACR 4.3.1/Lightroom 1.3.1 included the ability to decode S-RAW files so that function has been available since last November.
