120-300 repair

I just got my lens back from sigma service, they replaced the HSM motor on it.

I did a really quick shot of an iris outside my house - does this look tack sharp?? I'm doing more testing tomorrow for baseball.

Looks pencil-eraser sharp to me.

Hard to tell any sharpness with a resized image.

I agree, post some 100% crops. But the image does look lot better compared to your earlier images.

Thanks Bobby - I feel much better about the lens, especially since you remember my first images from it (pre-repair).

Actually, I deleted this shot since it was a quickie test shot, so I can't post a 100% crop from it - all I have left is the photobucket version that I uploaded.

I'll be doing more extensive shooting with it tomorrow, and will post over in the sports section from the game.
