IT'S HERE YIPPEY!!!!! :-D
I just have one lens for now (EFS 17-85), seems to work good. I decided to hold off on the 100-400 till I get used to the camera. Big jump from an A80.

Congratulations Boomer1959!

I have no doubts that you will enjoy this set-up. I, as well, went for the 17-85mm IS USM and love it. I know there have been a few people cutting this lens down, but I quite enjoy it and have not found any problems with the quality of the glass. My 100-400 L IS USM should be arriving tomorrow. Can't wait.

How do you like the grip? Heard mixed reviews about that as well. I guess Canon can't please everyone all the time right?

Happy times. Enjoy.

Ivan

Thanks Ivan and Tammie :-D
Ivan, I like the grip, it's handy, easy to load the batteries, also had a 100-400 on the camera and it seemed to balance it better when hand held.
