Evening all
I started using Photoshop E3.0 and the download speed vs. either the canon or my computer microsoft supplied software is amazing. I just use the cheepo SanDisk 512s and the Photoshop must be 5x faster.

any similar observations?

Are you using a card reader, or plugging into your camera? If plugging in, which camera do you have?

I had an 8X speed increase when I went from USB 1.1 to USB2 to download images with my Ultra II card - now I get 8MB/sec.
