Yes. DOF appears to be fine, thin enough, but you should really go lower.


Canon EOS 40D and 50D, some lenses with curious red stripes and other gadgets. Previously a very satisfied owner of 20D.

Just my $.02 worth but on this shot, I would have gotten right down on the ground in front of him. I'd have laid flat on the ground for this one and went with a horizontal/landscape instead of a portrait with his face filling the frame I think . With the angle I suggested, I'd also go with more DOF too as with that long face there you'd kind of need it.

also watch how the lighting hits the eye. The green'ish eye is just like red eye in people.

Thanks for all the comments. Yes i though i should have got down at a lower angle. I didn't know the green eyes were like red eyes in human, now that you mentioned it, it makes sense, as she has brown eyes normally.

and monty, you are right, they could pass as twins :)
