Purchased a 5D kit from Amazon Gold Box!!!

But it has an expected ship date of 1 to 2 months!!!!

I can wait...it's really no big deal. But do they really take this long??

I also got the same 5d deal in my gold box right now. And the 40d kit is also in my gold box for 1073.45. But I believe someone has the 40d kit for 1050, so maybe i should wait a little longer.

Earlier I saw the 40D with a 4gig card in a costco email for $979.

The other day when it went out of stock the delivery time was listed as 1-2 months, but then it came back in stock and had an immediate delivery date. I imagine the same will happen within the next few days when they get new stock in.

Are you sure? I've not seen the 40D kit for $1050, and I've been paying close attention. Of course I could've missed it. $1073.45 is a great price though--about $50 less than other reputable dealers.

Probably the 28-135, not the 17-85. Killer price if it's the 17-85 kit.
