I just bought this game for my 8 and 11 year olds and we were sitting down for a quick 20 question game and it popped up! 5 questions on photography, including questions about saturation, copper developing, zoom lens, and other stuff! I was so surprised, and I got all the answer right!

This forum rocks! Thanks POTN. I'm smart now.

Have you tried the Wii yet?

We got Endless Ocean a while back which has you taking photos of fish. It actually gives you some 'advanced' controls as well, like setting your f stop. Pretty entertaining.

And now they have some kind of safari game, can't remember the name, where the aim of the game is to take the best photos. Someone should let our Africa safari crew know they can save some money. :)

Oh, and on a side note. Funny bit of Wii product placement. Apparently Tony Stark is into using one as there was one parked next to his TV. I wonder if he bought the Iron Man game for it?

oooo. Those games sound really good.

You have the shake, pull, spin, etc. to extend the time of the game. So, if you and your family are not very smart or fast, you do the physical stuff to answer longer. It's called "Smarty Pants" and is quite difficult. I can't get all the questions right either, I'm not that smart. But the questions are about cameras, lenses and processing and history of photography. I was surprised. For instance, one was asking which type of processing is used for a dark picture? The answer was, I think, low saturation, high resolution, from the choices they gave. You get to guess out of 4. The zoom question was "What type of lens describes focusing far away." Really not easy questions. So, I was surprised, but pleased I guessed right on all of them.

Oh, that is so annoying. I tried ordering it last week and nothing. I will have to wait, too. But my boys have everything, so they are not bothered. I want to get them moving around the Wii is actually fun.

Preordered WiiFit on Amazon a while back, and its definitely worth it. We're all enjoying it, my kids particularly love the skiing and the running.

Thanks. I was in WalMart this morning and they had 3. I bought one for $89.99! I will give it to my sons for summer fun in about 3 weeks when school is out. If they get all A's then they get it. :) Thanks. I can't wait to use it!

Hmm, Canon XT, Canon XTi, Canon XSi, I wonder how long before we can get a Canon Wii?

It'd be like the XSi, but white, play the music from the Wii shopping channel when you turn it on, have built in motion detection (image stabilization), and vibrate or cheer whenever you take a really good photo. If you take several good photos in a row it will let you unlock extra abilities.

5 photo streak - you've unlocked exposure compensation power!!!
