Nice moment, but too soft on the focus (not to mention the rope across the face of the short referee). But for capturing a moment, this tells a story.

These are two of may favorite images with emotion. The first is a "hugger" at the Northwest Illinois Special Olympics congratulating an Olympian at the finish. The second are two girls on a softball team that just won a regional tournament.

yeah, Im a photographer for them (illinoisphotographer on the message boards there). I've been working for DyestatIL for the past two years, since unfortunately I haven't done so well at sectionals, so instead of running I shoot.

Good news is that with all the money Ive made from this, I can finally afford a 70-200 2.8L

Wow thats awesome. So, do they pay you for that, or do you just get to sell all pictures you shoot.

I get to keep all the commissions.

Nice shots. Especially like the last one posted of the baseball players. A reminder to always keep shooting even if the game is over...

I've coached five high school sports....Have to remember it's one photo - there's no way to tell if he's doing it in a show boating manner or not from that, could have just caught it to make it look that way (and yes it does look that way). They should be able to celebrate big wins, just not in a bad manner...if he was show boating or showing up the others then yea.

Jube shots are the best...get a ton in high school...since just put it in another thread might as well throw it here to - going to playoffs shot.
