Anyone have this combination?
I bought the lens and as an after Xmas present to myself I am looking for a 1.4x converter.
On Canon's website; I read this today:
Can someone confirm/deny this? This _really_ bums me out if it's true....

I don't know what you are reading, but this text says it WILL work. Doesn't matter if it's a version I or II. The diff between I and II is mostly a o-ring for weather protection.
