Well while the camera itself is still just fodder for the rumours threads, anyone eagerly anticipating it can at least pre-order a user guide for it.

The guide comes out November 10th this year, I guess the author must have been happily playing with an early model for a while now. Unless those books just get written based on the specs?

They just write the book based on the last camera (in this case the 450D), assuming there won't be any earth-shaking changes, and when the new one comes out re-shoot with the different body and adjust those few spots they see any obvious differences or new features.
