You're not able to adjust the filter without drastically affecting your composition if the graduation line happens to be in the 'wrong' location. You'd be much better off with a rectangular style GND filter...much better in terms of the ability to adjust (up, down, or at any angle) to suit your composition. Other than price and size (Hitech=4x5,$; Lee=4x6, $$), I can't see a whole lot of difference between them. Personally, I've been using Hitechs and have been very satisfied with them.
