When I connect my 5D to the computer in the "PC Connect" mode required for tethered shooting, I just get three quick connect beeps and nothing else. A little while later the camera powers down and I get the USB disconnection sound. EOS Utility does not recognize the camera while it's connected. I have installed every piece of software I can find on the Canon support download page for the 5D, but it keeps behaving the same way. I have had this problem in the past and can't remember how I dealt with it, and I don't feel like spending the morning trying to get it working. Any ideas?
