However, the background is extremely distracting. The human eye tends to be drawn to areas of brightness so the background leads the viewer there first instead of focusing on the flower. If you were to reshoot, I'd suggest you change the angle of your vantage point - climb up a bit, or stand directly over the orchid and aim the camera downwards - that way you will eliminate the bright sunlit area and capture a more pleasing green background.
