Hi All

I am trying to decide whether I can justify spending on a new monitor.

The 215TW gets good reviews for use on photo editing and as it uses the same 'panel' as the Eizo CE210W is a worthy contender for the budget.

However, this model seems to have disappeared from mainstream suppliers and the only one that appears to have it available is at £399.99, a little OTT compared to listings sites. I note that even on the Samsung website it is only listed in the support section for manuals etc., so seems to be discontinued???

So can this still be bought in the UK from a reliable source at a reasonable price say apprx £350.00?

If the 215TW has gone what is equal to it for the price with the S-PVA panel, as S-IPS paneled monitors are (typically) a step up in price?

TIA :)

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p

Hi Box Brownie.

I would say that if you can find one then go for it as mine is excellent. I purchased it about six months ago from an online company known as oyyy. They had a few left at £283 which I thought was a really good price.

However, even then, there were very few others who had stock, with all the rest around £380 - £400.

The 24 inch version is still available I think. I was looking on the Overclockers website and they had some in stock for just over £600.

Alternatively, and I thought these were a bargain, they also have two of the Samsung XL20 monitors in stock and are selling them off for less than £500. These were £900 plus monitors a few months back, and if I wasn't so happy with my 215 I would have bought one for sure:)
