As titled stated my Gf washed my clothes w/o checking my pockets and i had 2 brand new cards in the case holder in my pockets.
My question is are they ruined?

But yeah, let it dry for a few days to make sure there's no moisture inside it when you power in back on again. Fredrik — Portfolio

Not 2 weeks ago my GF didn't check my pockets and washed my 1gb USB Flash Drive (It's all the same tech inside though, solid state), so once it drives, you should be totally fine. Wilson

The 4 gig cards are cheap enough but the 8 gig is 180.00 and that's the one I was mainly worried over. As suggested ill make sure they sit and dry out so nothing short circuits and give them a test before I go off on a weekend trip. I washed a couple of 256MB 4x Lexars that I used in my trail camera 2-3 years ago and they still work, don't use them much, but they work fine. Derek
