You might check it in your card reader instead of in the camera. Just in case there's some moisture lurking.
If you can read it and format it, it's good as new.

If you can read it and format it, it's good as new. -js Just a thought when i read this comment - i've got a (supposedly) kingston 80x 2GB card that 'formats' just fine (in the reader and camera), but there's errors in camera when writing to the card after about 80 shots... after you turn the camera off and on again, it can write to the remainder of the card just fine... remarkphotography.com
