The combinations of the 300 f4 L and 1.4 TC has worked very well.
Excellent sharpness and action plus good job in controlling the whites.
Always good to see one picture with the bails flying.

Good exposure and timing Jim,like N°3 the best,from an ex fast bowlers point of view,the next best thing to the ''sniff that'' ball;)

I bought a Kenko pro 3000 2x for it but it wont work in Auto focus have to use manual, do you know is there any 2x that will work in Auto focus with the 300f4?

Brilliant shots. Number 5 and 7 are my favorites but I'd be more then happy with any of them.

great stuff, ive just bought myself a 40d as a back up until the mk3 problems get sorted and i aint had none like that out of my camera, care to share the 40d settings.

Hi Gaz thanks for your comments, used 300f4L and Kenko 1.4x, centre AF, Evaluative metering, raw,upped the ISO400 to get the ball sharp, pre focused 1 meter in front of the batsman as they usually step forward to the shot, watched the ball leave the bowler hand and shoot,shutter drive set to H, hope this helps
