I did not think of the difference in hand holding. Good advice

I went from the 300f4 to the sigma, a 2.5lb difference. It's heavy, but I got used to it. I only bring a monopod if I know I am going to be in a target area and sitting for awhile. But hand holding is fairly easy with it. [even with my neck problems] I put the strap over my head and then one arm through the front of the strap so the strap is resting across my shoulders rather than my neck.
The Tamron televerters work well with the 20D and sigma.

Good to hear. I am raising funds as we speak to buy one and was hoping my Tamron TC would play nicely with it. :)

snickersnickersnicker!! ;) BTW, still a beautiful pic. I enjoy the "moon shot" stuff. One day we will catch those grey buggers on a fly-by!! ;)

ummmm...I sure hope this works. I burried my 28-135mm kit lens in the back yard. I am hoping that sometime in the next three weeks it sprouts into the Bigmos!!

Right LR?

actually I have decided to remove the divider between my 28-135mm and my Sigma 70-300mm Macro in my bag, give them some privacy, then check every few days to see if anything........, ummmmm.......develops?

I would bury them together. That would instill a sense of "urgency".

Just make sure they are the "right" blue pills...... You might end up with two very cranky lenses with great blood pressure readings.

All,

<! -- Please ignore this post and the next one as I'd incorrectly posted what I thought were 100% crop of my images -- !>

Here are the 100% crop of the images I posted yesterday, from the RAW files - 2 sets -

1st set with only levels adjusted. and
2nd set with adjusted levels and 180% sharpening at 0.3 pixels. (2nd set in a different post!).
