Just wondering if they are the dumbest species.......maybe even mildy retarded?

This same Cardinal has been pecking at the back window of this van for 3-4 days, and the same exact bird has also been pecking at one of the windows to my garage. Is it some sort of mating season for Cardinals, or do I just have the resident retard? Or are they all this stupid? :D

I've seen American Robins do it also....they're territorial and they think they're reflection is another male.

I've also seen birds attack from bumpers and grills of cars...good insect selection up there. ;)

LMAO...I just noticed the droppings. Better wash that off...lol.

This is hilarious. There's a Cardinal at one of my birding sites that is obsessed with side view mirrors on any car that parks in "his" spot. He kindly pinstripes them for free. I don't park there anymore. :-)

Seems he's trying to make a statement to the other guy that keeps showing up and looks amazingly like himself.

Good info. And yes, the main reason I even took the pic is because I saw all of the fertilizer......

Looks as if the bird feels the same way about Dodge vehicles as I do.
