Think we should have gone somewhere else Geoff.

Here are some more from the well attended Jim Clark Rally

Fairly last minute deccission after a discussion with an other POTN member.

On the drive up we looked at the rally info I had printed out from the JCR web site and decided on Ayton and Langton.

This is Ayton:

Phillip Morrow and Daniel Barritt obviously had been trying too hard

John Price in the fab Metro 6R4

What will we do when we stop seeing the MKII Escort? This one, driven by Keith Robathon, being driven like it should

We are looking forward to Langton what with a water splash, yumps and hairpin bends. The water splash was so busy and the main vantage point tapped off for the pros.

The little Suzuki's were well represented, this one nearly wiping out the pro photographers

This gives you an idea just how deap the water was.

The RAF lads were out again and having fun by the looks of it
[IMG]http://i76.photobucket.com …t_petrolhead/RY0W9329.jpg (external link)

And finally the well presented Scoobie of Paul Kirtley

As always CC welcome

I love the mk11 shot, all nice shots

Morrow did that 200 yards into SS1:oops:

I can vouch that the watersplash was indeed very deep, my non weather sealed Sigma 24-70 is still drying out:(

Nice shots. Sure you didn't pay the Suzuki driver to create a bit more space for you & Geoff next year?;)

Never mind. Won't get fooled again eh? I think next year i might have a bit of a run up in advance and drive through some of the stages if i can get the info in time. :D

I'm liking the Landy and the steaming pile of s....Subaru ;)

Nice shots Peter, seeing the shot of Gamble overshooting the watersplash makes me think you were there for the first run through Langton, I only caught the second run but I did make it to the 2 Ayton runs though.

Sorry about that:oops: Langton is alway heaving with people and the water splash is the main focus of attention

Cheers

Is the battered Mitsubishi the guy who rolled after 400 yards on the first stage? It looks battered enough.

Love the last Scoobie shot, it looks quite violent.
