My tilt + shift fake

Looks nice and modelly, if a little slanted ;)

One great thing that this thread seems to do is attract the new POTNers to posting images, I'm happy with that :)

My attempt is nowhere as good as the ones I've seen here; this is probably down the fact that I haven't really got myself into a position to capture an image that would work with this technic.
Anyway, this is the Armed Forces Memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire.

For an image taken from such a low angle I think you've produced a really good model image there. Good stuff :)

Some very nice shots posted lately. I need to spend some more time playing with this technique.

9eye - that motorcycle shot is cool.

I beg to differ. This is a pretty nice shot on it's own and works fairly well as a T/S. I wonder how it would look if you did the focus plane vertical at the center.

Thanks Anke. Its no where near as good as some of the others here but I have an idea for a place where I can get up high for a shot. It'll be about 4 weeks before I can get there though.

I took the original photo last October in Dartmouth, Devon. Post-capture work was carried out in PaintShop Prox X3.

Taken from the London Eye last year. The building to the right is the MOD Building and behind it is Horse Guards Parade and the Guards Memorial.
